Baligh
In Islamic legal terminology, Baligh or Bulugh (in Arabic: بالغ
or بلوغ) refers to a person who has reached maturity or puberty and has full
responsibility under Islamic law.
When a girl has her
mense or becomes pregnant before her
first mense or not having mense and not
getting pregnant, but had wet dreaming (dreaming about sexual intercourse and
having pleasure and, as a result of having discharge) or the first three conditions is not they
comply, but they complete their 15 years (lunar year), which will be considered
as baligha.
When a child reaches puberty (growth of pubic hair or have
wet dreams) or not having symptoms such that he completes his 15 years (lunar
year) is considered as baligh.
For example, in matters relating to marriage,
baligh is related to the legal Arabic expression, hatta tutiqa'l-rijal, which
means that the wedding can not take place until the girl is physically fit to
have sex. By comparison, Baligh or Balaghat refers to the extent of sexual
maturity manifested by menstruation. The age in relation to these two concepts
